Speaking / Talks.

Prime your colleagues to make informed decisions

I've phished CEOs, cybercriminals, celebrities, and even the head of Homeland Security. Now, I use my experiences to help individuals and businesses to confidently navigate a world of ever-changing email threats.

My email pranks were the beginning of a journey into email threat research and exploration of projects like gamified phishing, relationship models, and awareness videos. At the heart of it all sits my passion for social engineering and phishing, which guides everything I do.

But what I love most is sharing my experiences in live talks. From hacking the White House to how I'd phish Elon Musk, my stories unlock valuable lessons that resonate with everyone, no matter their experience level.

I always tailor my talks to make complex concepts accessible and engaging. If you're looking for an expert speaker who genuinely wants to help your colleagues to be safer through understanding, let's chat when you’d like to learn more :)

Feel free to DM me on LinkedIn, or email me at j@james-linton.com

My Projects

  • BattlePhish™

BattlePhish™ my approach to gamifying phishing simulations. It’s easy to think of any gamification of simulations as a novelty… but i’ll think you’ll be surprised by how much it can add.

  • Ask&Do™

Ask&Do™ is my transactional relationship framework, and the engine behind BattlePhish™. It’s job is to give the building blocks to contrast and compare the way things are, and how they become risks.

  • Inbox Hypnotism™

Humans aren’t the weakest link. It’s time to embrace and understand the chronic condition of Inbox Hypnotism, and move on from this tired trope and focus on what can be changed.
